A: Each participant will receive a wristband to wear to identify that you have registered to participate. Please help us and wear this wristband. Thank you for your cooperation!
A: In order to honor and respect each honoree in the Circle of Life Garden, we ask that people walk through the Garden and take photos, but sitting by a particular sign for an extended length of time will not be allowed, as it does not give others access to view the signs. Food is not permitted in the Garden.
A: Signs displayed in the Garden can be removed after 12pm, but not before.
A: Look for the Donor Family Village tower. The team captain will check in by the last name of the donor. The team captain will receive a box that has the team's shirts, buttons and wristbands, as well as a waiver that each team member must sign. The signed waiver must be returned to the check in area..
A: No, t-shirts must be picked up the morning of the event at the check in area.
A: Yes, you are welcome to bring these items and set up on the grass inside of the Donor Family Village. If you bring a canopy, you must stake down the corners for safety purposes.
A: Yes! Have fun! They just may end up in a photo on the website or our brochure.
Q: Will there be food?
A: The Vons Breakfast Court will have free food beginning at 7am. Starting at 9:30am, Food Truck Alley will feature a variety of food options for purchase. Cash, credit and debit cards will be accepted. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Alcohol is not allowed on campus.
A: They can register online through the 26th. On the day of, they can come to the regular Registration line beginning at 7am. They will receive a general Run/Walk t-shirt. On site registration is $40 and will take place at the regular registration area. We will not have on site registration in the Donor Family Village.
A: We have a very large number of donor families participating, so our team area will be very full. At the check area, we can tell a participant if the team captain has picked up the teams' box, and then you will have to look around to find your team!
A: No, the campus does not allow dogs and we must be respect the campus and all of the event participants.
A: Everyone can choose whether they'd like to walk, run, roll, or skip the 1K or the 5K.
A: We are charged for each person who is timed. Anyone who wants to be timed must come to the “Bibs” tent in the Donor Family Village to have a bib completed.
A: Come to the “Bibs” tent and you will be given a souvenir bib. Having a bib on your shirt is NOT required and is not needed for you to participate.
A: If you ordered a new sign this year, the sign will be in the Garden which is at the end of the course at the finish line. We plan to have signs from previous years displayed along the route.
A: You are welcome to take your sign after 12pm and if you choose to leave it with us, it will be stored in our warehouse for next year's event. Signs cannot be removed from the Garden before 12pm.
A: There is a kids area with face painting, games, and a rock climbing wall; we have over 70 exhibitors, a raffle drawing, a Donate Life Run/Walk store, and live musical entertainment.
A: Thank you for fundraising! You can bring your fundraising money to the tent in the Donor Family Village and turn it in there. Any fundraising prizes you've earned will be sent to you in the mail.
